Poppy Seedball Tin

Each tin contains 20 seed balls, enough to cover 1 square metre in a garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball).

Each ball contains around 100 poppy seeds. Best scattered in the Spring or Autumn.

A tin bursting with common poppy seeds; A bright red flowering annual – this hugely popular native wildflower is fantastic for pollinators and garden birds and a stunning addition to any wildflower garden.

The seed balls are made at Seedball HQ in North London - from a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and and the seeds sprout. All wildflowers are listed by the RHS.
